To go or not to go (out)?

We were all ready for the big launch - midsummer and parties ahoy! But the weather, and the PM had different ideas. I had booked a cacao ceremony, imagining large groups happily outside in the sunshine. But the takers were few, and the wind began to blow. So we gathered inside, just fitting into the rule of 6, and the room we had.

It was a delight to get all the senses working again - bells, smells, candles - and NO screen. Participants were in 3D and the laughter was real!

However I still love my online Sanskrit, which would not be possible if I had to go in person. So if you are torn between wanting to go out and really wanting to stay in, you are not alone! I will continue online cacao ceremonies, but there is an ‘in the room’ option for up to 5 people. This way I hope we get the best of both worlds.

Of course, the Vedic worldview is that we are in fact happiest when we are rendered choice-less. Those times when you ‘just knew’ or when you acted from such a clear space of knowing. Ideally, with meditation, everything becomes effortlessly in flow. Our job is to not become attached to the outcome of this action - to act, but not from a place of need. But from a place of knowing, a place of enjoyment, a space of fulfilment. So in or out, I don’t mind, but ensure you are enjoying whichever you choose. xxx
