Some good reads.

As well as a brief overview of the Vedic meditation technique, this book contains a great variety of first hand testimonies (including one by me) of how people came to meditation, and what has changed in people's lives since practicing.

A simple intro to Ayurveda for Westerners, showing that we don't need to eat complicated pills and diets, but can tweak our daily habits first, with big effect. Her website has lots of good seasonal advice sheets.

A translation of the story of Krishna, created by an amazing scholar of Sanskrit and Vedic texts. My primary school story teller loves the wild psychedelia of these stories with demons and magical flying chariots. If you like this, try the (1500 page long!) Mahabharata.

I keep this by my bedside and read a page a night. It is a simple guide to connecting with abundance.

Don't let the film fool you into thinking meditation has to be painful! I love how she also ignored her inner desires until they screamed at her and pushed her into a new and beautiful adventure.
